Interior painting in North Bay and Ottawa costs $400 to $800 per room or $5,000 to $15,000 for a whole-home repaint, including full surface prep, drywall repair, primer, and two coats of premium Benjamin Moore or Dulux paint. All In One Painting handles repaints, accent walls, ceilings, trim, doors, baseboards, kitchens, bathrooms, basements, stairwells, and pre-listing refreshes across both branches: North Bay and Nipissing (Callander, Corbeil, Powassan, Sturgeon Falls, Mattawa), and Ottawa and the National Capital Region (Kanata, Barrhaven, Stittsville, Orleans). Every job is fully insured, WSIB covered, and led by Ahmed Khalil or Osama Jassim depending on your branch.
If you've been painted-for-cheap before, you know how it ends: touch-ups that never get done, dry lines on the cut, ceilings that flash where the roller stopped. That's not how we work. Ahmed's standard is zero callbacks: if a job is done, it's done flawless. Same standard runs the Ottawa branch under Osama. Same products, same prep depth, same guarantee.
What you're paying for isn't paint. Paint is the cheap part. You're paying for the prep (sanding, patching, caulking, priming), the coverage (two coats, properly thinned, properly cut), and the protection (every floor papered, every piece of furniture wrapped, every edge taped). Skip the prep and you don't have a paint job. You have a problem that shows up in eighteen months. We don't skip it. The quote tells you exactly what's included, and the guarantee makes the standard enforceable.
Our interior scope is the same whether you're repainting one bedroom or the whole house. You pay for labour and paint. Prep and guarantee are built in.
Wash, sand, patch, caulk, and spot-prime. Walls, trim, doors, and ceilings arrive ready for colour. Every edge taped, every floor and furniture piece papered or wrapped before any paint comes out.
We fill nail pops, hairline cracks, holes, and water stains. Major repairs get a full skim coat and sanding to a smooth finish before primer goes on. No "we'll just paint over it." It gets fixed first.
Stain-blocking, adhesion, or tinted primer where it matters. Dark-to-light colour changes get full primer coverage so the new colour reads true in two finish coats, not three or four guessing-game passes.
Two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select, Aura, or Dulux Diamond, never a single thin coat. Ceilings sprayed for uniform sheen, walls cut and rolled clean, trim and doors brushed or sprayed depending on detail.
Final quotes depend on room size, ceiling height, condition of the walls, and whether you're doing a dark-to-light colour change. These ranges cover the vast majority of jobs we do. Free on-site estimates always.
Cabinet doors and drawer fronts are quoted separately as part of our spray-finish Cabinet Refinishing service (typically $4,000–$10,000 per kitchen). Interior pricing above covers walls, trim, doors (room doors, not cabinet doors), and ceilings.
Most painters use whatever they pull off the truck first. We match the tool to the surface. Here's how, and why it matters for finish quality.
Ceilings, large open walls before furniture is moved in, primer coats on heavily patched drywall, and our flagship work, cabinet doors and drawer fronts sprayed inside a sealed plastic-sheeted booth we build right in your home.
Spraying lays paint down in a uniform film with no roller stipple and no brush marks. Ceilings sprayed and back-rolled vanish into the architecture.
The default tool for interior walls. A microfibre roller laid down with a wet edge, two coats, gives an even finish that's almost invisible from arm's length. This is what 80% of every interior job looks like.
Different nap lengths for different textures: short nap for smooth drywall, medium for knockdown, longer for orange peel or popcorn ceilings being repainted from scratch.
Cutting in: the line where wall meets ceiling, where wall meets trim, around outlets, switches, and corners. A 2.5-inch angled sash brush in the right hands is faster and cleaner than any taping job for these edges.
Also: trim, doors, baseboards, and detailed mouldings where roller marks would show. A quality natural-blend brush leaves brush marks that level out as the paint flows, when applied properly.

A North Bay homeowner wanted their foyer and stairwell to feel like the rest of their renovated main floor. We patched and skim-coated the drywall, primed where needed, and applied two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select.
Clean lines on every trim run and a uniform finish from baseboards to ceiling.

The five questions we get on almost every call. If your question isn't here, call (705) 482-1039 or use the form below and we'll answer it within 24 hours.
Interior painting in North Bay typically costs $400 to $800 per room or $5,000 to $15,000 for a whole-home repaint. Pricing includes full surface prep, drywall repair, premium primer, and two coats of Benjamin Moore or Dulux paint.
Final quotes depend on room size, ceiling height, condition of the walls, and whether you are doing a dark-to-light colour change. Every estimate is free and on-site. We walk through every room with you before we leave a number.
An average bedroom takes one to one and a half days of work including prep, primer, and two coats. A living room with high ceilings or detailed trim can take two days. A full-house interior typically runs five working days for a three-bedroom home.
We schedule jobs back-to-back so your house isn't sitting open for a week between coats. Quote tells you the start date and the finish date, and we hold to them.
Yes, both are common. Painting over wallpaper requires a careful skim coat, sanding, and a stain-blocking primer before colour goes on. For dark-to-light colour changes we apply a full tinted primer coat so the new colour reads true in one or two finish coats instead of three or four.
Both add prep time but neither is a problem if it's priced into the quote upfront. We'll tell you exactly how many extra hours during the on-site walkthrough.
Yes. Benjamin Moore Regal Select, Aura, and ben Waterborne Interior are all low-VOC. Aura and Natura are zero-VOC. We default to low-VOC products for occupied homes and use zero-VOC on request, especially for nurseries, pediatric clients, or pet households.
Ventilation during and after painting still matters but the off-gas window is dramatically shorter than older oil-based systems. We'll talk through scheduling around your family's routine.
No. Most clients stay in the house during interior repaints. We mask floors and furniture, work one or two rooms at a time, and protect everything with paper and plastic before any paint is opened.
The only times we ask families to plan around the work are large colour changes with strong fumes, or full-house jobs where every room is being touched at once. We talk through it during the on-site quote. No surprises, no "oh, by the way."
Factory-grade spray finish on every door, drawer, and frame. Renner or Envirolak 2K, sprayed inside a sealed booth we build right in your home, with a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
